[QUOTE]THEATRE OF TRAGEDY做过两件事，是金属迷眼中相当丑陋的：第一是红极一时之时，背弃了歌德金属转向电子，令广大的支持者失望到极点；第二是2004年突然无理将女主音Liv Kristine赶走。THEATRE OF TRAGEDY的成功有至少一半是归功於她的歌声，乐队这样做等同於自掘坟墓 ，但已没有多少人理会原因或去向，因为众人的注意力已经转移到Liv Kristine处。仅接到来自团员的一封电邮通知、被单方面辞退的她并没有自暴自弃或找昔日的队友兼十多年好友晦气，相反立即组成了一支新乐团继续自己的音乐事业，这「复仇工具」，便是取她的名字而成的LEAVES' EYES。
成立这团的意思源於某日她和夫婿、ATROCITY首脑兼制作人Alexander Krull森林中的漫步。修毕一个英文学位的她想在音乐方面发挥所学，便构思了一个文学作品式故事，并透过丈夫的关系请来了整支ATROCITY，那时低音结他手Chris Lukhaup和结他手Thorsten "Tosso" Bauer手头上已有一些歌曲，得知Liv Kirstine的理念後其他队员陆续加入共同创作，後来Liv Kirstine被逐出THEATRE OF TRAGEDY（也不知她在乐团以外兼顾太多是否导火线之一了），这"ATROCITY featuring Liv Kristine"的阵容正式成为LEAVES' EYES，乐团的音乐加上Liv Kristine的歌词，成就了她心目中的音乐剧"Lovelorn"。录音期间正值Liv Kristine怀孕期，就在她录好了"Lovelorn"最後一首歌的两小时後，她的儿子Leon Alexander便出生了，让她感受到好比得到了两个孩子的喜悦。
早在1999年，Liv Kristine已经推出过一张个人专辑"Deus Ex Machina"，LEAVES' EYES同样是以她为中心的作品，难免会被拿来比较，但前者较重氛围性，後者是ToT迷久候多时的歌德金属。"Lovelorn"顾名思义的是一个爱情故事，每一首歌都是故事的其中一章，是她某次睡梦的梦境，写一个女孩在海中淹死了，一条美人鱼不忍她的爱人伤心欲绝，遂助他们二人重逢，而在这爱情故事之中，Liv Kristine亦表达了她对祖家挪威的爱戴，第一曲"Norwegian Lovesong"光名字已经很明显了。音乐和早期的WITHIN TEMPTATION/THEATRE OF TRAGEDY接近，都是很富交响感和戏剧性，亦有Alexander Krull的死腔与女声对唱，但和THEATRE OF TRAGEDY相比，少了厄运金属感，令人感到会更贴近WITHIN TEMPTATION的流行。的确，Liv Kristine的声线依然甜蜜，LEAVES' EYES的音乐亦比以前更富旋律，还有她的妹妹Carmen Elise（她所属乐团MIDNATTSOL的处女专辑在05年初由Napalm Records发行）在其中几首和音，死腔也很照顾新手需要的只在数曲中出现，所以听惯了ToT会觉得有点儿「过甜」。但他们也有自己的特别之处，除了一提再提的Liv Kristine外，ARTOCITY的死金背景和他们本身已多元化的创作方法，令LEAVES' EYES的音乐时有一些新颖的时段不流於歌德金属的典型，某些旋律和合成器的音色，在我们亚洲人听来有点东洋的感觉，加起来便是一张突出的歌德金属唱片。
或者会觉得不及"Velvet Darkness They Fear"或"Aegis"这两部THEATRE OF TRAGEDY颠峰之作，始终是两种不同的歌德金属风格，强作比较着实没有必要。是THEATRE OF TRAGEDY的乐迷的话，相信一定会留意到"Lovelorn"，喜欢男女对唱类型歌德金属或甜美女声，又或是初接触歌德金属甚至金属初哥，"Lovelorn"也是相当适合。[/QUOTE]

在２００４年吉尼斯摇滚歌剧概念专辑“In Search of The Little Prince寻找小王子”（Daniele Liverani作品）中Kristine扮演了"Klepsydra"。
与此同时她也在意大利黑金属乐队HORTUS ANIMAE的专辑“The Lotuseaters”------食落拓枣的人（贪图安逸的人）”中客串，该专辑中翻唱了“DEAD CAN DANCE死亡能舞”乐队的“Summoning Of The Muse缪斯的召唤” ，这张专辑由Ｂlack Lotus Records 唱片公司发行。
Ｋｒｉｓｔｉｎｅ和Ｋｒｕｌｌ双双在“ＩＭＭＯＲＴＡＬ ＲＩＴＥＳ不朽的仪式”乐队的２００４年３月专辑“Art Of Devolution"------虔诚的艺术”中友情客串。
